01The app
Hushdoc lets you open, edit, convert and sign documents, spreadsheets, presentations and PDFs on your own device. Every normal tool is free, with no watermark and no sign-in.
02Your documents
Your documents are yours. Hushdoc works on them on your device and never receives a copy. Because they stay with you, keeping backups of important files is up to you.
03Provided as is
Hushdoc is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Converting and editing can change layout or formatting, so check important documents before you send or print them. To the extent the law allows, the maker is not liable for lost data, lost profits or any indirect damage arising from using the app.
04Hushdoc Pro
Pro will be a one-time purchase that adds extra features; it is not on sale yet. When it is, the purchase is made through Google Play or the App Store under their terms, including their refund rules.
05Open-source parts
Hushdoc is built with open-source software, including LibreOffice (Mozilla Public License 2.0) and PDFium (BSD licence). Their full licences are listed in the app under Licenses. Those licences, not these terms, govern those components.
06Acceptable use
Use Hushdoc lawfully. Do not use it to forge documents or signatures, or to remove protection from files you have no right to open.
07Who makes it, law and contact
Hushdoc is made by Arvind Kumar in India. On Google Play it is published under the developer name “OpenDMG.app”. These terms are governed by the laws of India. If they change, the new version is published here with a new date. Questions: hushdoc@opendmg.app.
